Paul Warren - America's Greatest Breakdown Fiddle Player
After being out of print for decades, Paul Warren - America’s Greatest Breakdown Fiddle Player, is now available in digital format. When Lester Flatt formed his own group in February 1969, Paul Warren became the senior member and one of the foundations of the group. In the company of Lester, “Uncle Josh” Graves, and “Cousin Jake” Tullock, he felt right at home. The performances contained herein were recorded at various times and places between February 1969 and February 1976. They were selected from hundreds of recordings of live shows and radio broadcasts taken by Lance LeRoy after Paul’s passing. Because Warren never recorded an album in his forty-year career, these recordings are the most substantive collection of Warren’s superb fiddle work.
