Back In Bluegrass: The Bluegrass Tribute to AC/DC
Without a doubt, one of the most singular and unique figures in the history of hard rock is Angus Young of AC/DC. But come on, a fully (well, almost) grown man parading around the stage in a schoolboys outfit? Raw-ther! Tell me though, who rocks harder than Angus does? A perpetual motion machine from power chord one, he’s all sweat, flailing limbs and bobbing head, strangling couldn’t –be-played-any-other-way solos from his trusty S.G. as if touched by the hand of (insert deity of choice here) himself. The most unlikely, un-rockstar rockstar ever delivered. In keeping with his tradition of appearances being dangerously deceptive, we present Pickin’ on AC/DC, a most gloriously rockin’ non-rock record. The gutsy lock-step stomp of AC/DC’s music fits wonderfully into the bluegrass two-step and there’s plenty of pickin’ goin’ on to keep even the pickiest guitar aficionado grinnin’ from ear to ear to ear. Slap it on and hit the highway to hellbilly heaven!
